[CES 2026 Recap] Beyond On-Premise to the Edge: PAASUP DIP’s Infrastructure Expansion Strategy
PAASUP's Edge-Forward roadmap scales DIP via Multi-K8s (RKE2/OpenShift) and NPU/LPU optimization, delivering secure, real-time AI from on-premise to the global Edge.
At CES 2026, PAASUP identified a surge in demand for Edge-based DIP, moving beyond traditional large-scale on-premise Data Intelligence Platforms. To meet 2026’s technical requirement for immediate intelligence at the data source (the Edge), we are proud to share the PAASUP DIP To-Be Roadmap.
1. Evolution of the Service Model: From High-End On-Premise to ‘Agile Edge’
PAASUP already possesses robust experience in stable on-premise deployments. However, the core demand confirmed at this exhibition was for an On-premise Edge Service Model—one that offers SaaS-like convenience while remaining deeply integrated into physical, local sites.
- PAASUP Strategy: We will maintain our high-performance on-premise support while introducing an Edge-specific model that operates locally to ensure absolute data sovereignty and site-specific responsiveness.
2. Compact Edge Clusters: High-Density Optimized Infrastructure
We are officially launching Compact Edge Cluster-based services, allowing the full power of the DIP platform to run in environments without massive server rooms.
- To-Be Strategy: By ensuring High Availability (HA) even on ultra-lightweight clusters of just 1 to 3 small nodes, we plan to provide an environment where the DIP platform can be deployed immediately in cramped industrial sites or for Small Businesses.
3. From Military-Grade Security to Government Standards: ‘Multi-K8s’ Strategy
To penetrate the global procurement market, PAASUP is elevating its infrastructure compatibility to the next level.
- Proven Technology: We currently provide security compatibility at U.S. Department of Defense levels, utilizing RKE2 with DISA STIG certification, ensuring unparalleled safety in mission-critical environments.
- Strategic Expansion: We are expanding native support for Red Hat OpenShift to accommodate North American government standard infrastructures that comply with FedRAMP. This completes our Multi-Kubernetes (Multi-K8s) strategy, encompassing both RKE2 and OpenShift, to innovatively lower the entry barriers to the North American public market.
4. The Core of Edge AI: Accelerating NPU & LPU Inference
To enable AI to breathe directly within Edge devices, we are significantly strengthening our hardware acceleration support.
- Heterogeneous Hardware Optimization: In addition to our current support for NVIDIA Enterprise AI and HuggingFace vLLM, we are expanding support for the latest NPU (Neural Processing Unit) and LPU (Language Processing Unit) based inference. This will evolve the DIP engine to enable real-time AI inference even in power-sensitive Edge environments.
